About the Geared Trolley
The Geared Trolley lets an operator traverse a hoist and its load—up to 10 tonnes—precisely along an I-beam by turning a hand chain. Hardened, heat-treated steel wheels on sealed, maintenance-free bearings roll smoothly on both tapered and flat-flanged beams, while integrated rubber bumpers and protective lugs keep the trolley secure against collision and accidental drop-off. Combined with a chain hoist, it forms a simple, cost-effective overhead crane.
