About the Current Collector
The Current Collector is the spring-loaded, self-aligning contact assembly that picks up power from DSL busbars as a crane travels. Sintered copper-graphite shoes glide inside the shrouded bars to deliver 125–250 A at 440 V across four poles with low wear and reliable contact. The spring loading keeps the shoes pressed firmly against the bars even as the crane moves and the track flexes.
