About the Thruster Brake
The Thruster Brake is an electro-hydraulic brake that stops and holds the motions of EOT cranes and hoists smoothly and reliably. A cast-iron or steel body with non-asbestos shoes runs on 3-phase 415/440 V AC using transformer oil as the hydraulic fluid, delivering shock-free braking for travel and hoist drives. Its self-adjusting action keeps braking consistent as the shoes wear, reducing maintenance downtime.
