About the Dee Shackle
The Dee (D) Shackle is a forged, quenched-and-tempered alloy or carbon-steel shackle with a narrow D-shaped body suited to straight, in-line loads. Hot-dip galvanized and conforming to ISO 2415, EN 13889 or IS 6132 with a 6:1 safety factor, it handles working loads from 0.5 to over 85 tonnes. Its slim profile makes it the preferred shackle for single-leg, in-line connections where side loading is not expected.
