About the Turn Buckle
The Turnbuckle adjusts the tension or length of a wire rope or cable by turning a central body that draws two threaded end fittings together. Forged or cast in 304/316 stainless or 1030 carbon steel and quenched, tempered and galvanized, it is the standard device for tensioning rigging, guy-wires and structural ties. End fittings in eye, jaw and hook combinations let it connect to almost any rigging arrangement.
